Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Alphazyl Pte. Ltd. ("Alphazyl", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in connection with this website (alphazyl.com), our owned and operated media properties, and our advertising and lead-generation services (collectively, the "Services").
We are committed to complying with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") and, where applicable to visitors from other jurisdictions, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA/CPRA").
1. Personal Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:
- Contact information — such as your name, email address, phone number and company name when you contact us or submit an enquiry.
- Lead and form data — information you voluntarily submit through forms on our media properties (for example, requests for quotes or information about products and services), which may include contact details and details relevant to your request (such as property type, insurance needs or product preferences).
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising identifiers and events — click identifiers, campaign parameters and conversion events used to measure and attribute advertising performance.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and our Services are not directed at them.
2. How We Use Personal Data
- To respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
- To provide our lead-generation services — including transmitting information you have submitted, with your consent, to relevant service providers, brands or partners so they can respond to your request;
- To measure, attribute and improve advertising campaigns, and to operate, secure and improve our websites;
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect our rights;
- With your consent where required — for example, for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure traffic and attribute conversions. These may include analytics and advertising technologies provided by third parties (for example, Meta and other advertising platforms, and click-tracking providers). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality. Where required by law, we request consent before setting non-essential cookies.
4. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell personal data for money. We may share personal data with:
- Service providers — hosting, analytics, tracking and communications vendors who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards;
- Advertisers, brands and network partners — where you have submitted a request through one of our properties intended to connect you with such a partner (for example, requesting a quote), we share the information needed to fulfil that request;
- Advertising platforms — limited event and identifier data for campaign measurement and attribution;
- Authorities and advisers — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
Sharing of certain identifiers with advertising platforms may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA/CPRA; you may opt out as described in Section 8.
5. International Transfers
We are based in Singapore and use service providers located in various countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, and where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal, accounting or reporting requirements, or to resolve disputes. Campaign and analytics data is retained in aggregated or de-identified form where practicable.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request access to, and correction of, personal data we hold about you (PDPA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA);
- Request deletion of your personal data;
- Withdraw consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability (GDPR);
- Opt out of the "sharing" of personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising (CCPA/CPRA);
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at info@alphazyl.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; in Singapore, with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
9. Third-Party Websites
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including advertiser and partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
10. Marketing Communications
Where we send marketing communications, we do so in accordance with applicable law (including Singapore's Spam Control Act and the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA, and, for US consumers, the TCPA and CAN-SPAM Act). You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
